cooking with mom

Leo, my buddy, his mom Megan and dad Adrian came over today for the first cookout of the season. Together mom and I made pasta salad and got all of the veggies together to be roasted on the grill. I am already mastering making dressing. Next week we are going to start learning the 5 mother sauces.

We have been enjoying some wonderful weather the past two days. I have been outside as much as possible. Check out my cool which hat, which by the way matches my socks.

Notes from Mom

I don't have any pictures to post today, but i will soon. Just thought I would give an update on how Otto is doing. First of all, he is getting HUGE! I honestly think he gets bigger throughout the day sometimes. We keep having to loosen the straps on his car seat. It could have something to do with the fact that he is eating every two hours round the clock. He has really changed in the past week. They say that things change at six weeks and I think they are right. He was seven weeks old this Wednesday and this past week has been such a growth week for him. He seems so much more content and happy. He is really smiling and now starting to giggle. Before he always needed to be bounced or walked around, or both. Now he is much more content to look around the room, watch what you are doing to just hang out. He never would do that before. Plus when he is not eating all the time he is starting to sleep better. We are also getting better at telling when he is crying because he needs to sleep and just hanging in there are rocking him to sleep. He is definitely much happier if he gets naps during the day.
Today we went to the park with some friends where he was wonderful. He sleep and nursed in his sling the whole time. It was so nice to be outside on the first nice day we have had in ages. Then we went out to lunch where aside from some fussiness he was wonderful. I would not have been able to do that as easily just a week ago. It is really amazing how much he is calming down. Although he is still the squirmiest baby I have ever seen. Although my mom says I was the same way, guess I can't blame that on Eric!
This weekend we are looking forward to the first cook out of the season here. We will be sure to take lots of pictures.
Will write more soon - phoebe

!!

today mommy took me to the doctor. She thought I had an eye infection, it was only a blocked tear duct. I could have told her that if she had asked. I fell asleep on the way home and napped in my car seat on the table, looking quite gangster I might add. I now weigh a whopping 12 pounds!!

Dad and his cuteness..

dad makes a great pillow.

they are experimenting with breast milk in bottles, it seems they want to go on dates sometimes! Dad is mastering the technique.

Race Day

This morning I got dressed in my Ferrari suit which believe it or not was once my dad's. Mom says she is thinking of contacting Ferrari, it seems every time I wear my outfit, they win.

Formula 1 Weekend

Here is dad and I watching qualifying for this weekend's race in Bahrain. I especially like it when dad makes cool sound effects and we "cruise" through the corners.

Breakfast in my bouncy chair

How can you resist a face like this

this was two weeks ago, mom had to undo the snaps on the sides to get the overalls on my yesterday!

Quick, before I grow out of these cute winter outfits...

Mom says I am starting to look like a sausage in some of my winter clothes. I admit, I do feel a little chunky these days. But still you have to admit, I am the cutest baby around!

Easter weekend bath adventures

Fresh for the spring, I took a bath in the kitchen sink at the cabin. This was my first bath in the sink instead of my baby bathtub. I was a little confused at first, but it seemed ok in the end.
