doctor appointment

Yesterday was not one of my favorite days. It started off well, but it took a turn for the worse in the afternoon. I had to go to the doctor for shots. First they weighed and measured me. I weigh 13 lbs, 10 0z. and I am just shy of 25 inches long. The doctor said I look "perfect" and that I am doing really well. They were really impressed with how well I can control my head and that I can stand with only a little support. Then came the shots. Mom was so scared she couldn't watch, she had to look the other way. I screamed so much it was amazing, wouldn't you if they stuck you with needles!! As soon as they were done mom cuddled me and that was better, but it took a bit to calm down. Then I had a snack and took a long nap. I was a bit out of sorts in the evening, but not too bad. I had a fever in the night which Tylenol helped. I love the cherry Tylenol. It tastes so good I slurp it down. Everyone thought I was going to not sleep at all last night but I showed them by sleeping two back to back four hours stretches!! Funny how mommy looks so bright eyed now!

johnny jump up

I know what you are thinking, it is too big for me. Well I love to stand and in this I can stand all by myself. Which I LOVE! They tell me it will make me jump really high, but for now I am just interested in standing, twirling and chewing on the straps. Tons of fun!

More Uncles!!

This is my uncle Matt, my dad's youngest brother. He is fresh from graduting from Purdue University. He decided to come and visit me for a few days on an east coast tour. I like him a lot. He is good at walking around with me and keeping me entertained.

Today is a big day. I am officially three months old and I am going to meet two of my uncles for the first time. This is my uncle Racer, my mom's brother. He is just home from college in Chicago. I love his bright red shirt. Plus when he is talking he paces the room which is a lot of fun to watch. Also today my uncle Matt, dad's brother is coming. He is driving here from Chicago as we speak. I will be sure to get some good photos with him as well.

my goat or is it a lamb...

Here is my new favorite toy. Mom and Dad are always looking for something for me to play with. This has been sitting on the shelf all along and it took them this long to give it to me. I love it. It is so soft and very tasty. The jury is still out on wether or not it is a goat or a sheep. Since I have not seen either in person I can't tell. You would think my parents would know though.

morning snooze time

Here is daddy and I in bed in the morning. He thinks if we cuddle together that I might go back to sleep. As you can see I am having no part of that!

Breakfast with Dad

Everyone else sits at the table so I think I will start too. If only they would give me some of that coffee they all rave about in the morning!

check out the dude in the mirror

Check out the handsome dude in my crib. He is pretty groovy. We sure did have a good time hanging out this morning. I will have to introduce you some time.

oh my god he is so cute!!

I really do not think it gets any cuter than a naked Otto on the changing table in the morning sun. Too cute for words!

in for trouble

so we do not have photograpic evidence of this yet, but this morning while eric was attempting to get otto to sleep, ha ha, he had otto on his tummy in the crib. He managed to crawl/squirm from one end to the other.... twice. If we are lucky it is just some freak reflex thing. yeah, that is what I will tell myself.

quilt shot

So here I am in all my glory on my cool quilt grandmom made for me. It took mom quite a few shots to get one where I wasn't squirming so much that I was a total blur.

newest time pass

Check me out! Is this not cool or what?! I just got this new mobile and I totally love it. It has these crazy animal dudes who spin around with a light and it plays music. I LOVE it. I can sit here and chew on my fists and watch it until the music stops. Did I mention I have two wonderfully tasty fists? I am really enjoying them. Added bonus of fist chewing... it makes you drool a lot. Who knew they could be so great.

piano time

It takes a lot of concentration and some really good grunting, but I am starting my first piano composition. My work is very experimantal. Look for a recording later this year.

some for now...

So, you probably are wondering what I have been up to. Well mom just spent an hour posting pictures that disappeared into the land of the Internet. Here are some of me in my adorable p.j.'s and maybe if I decide to take a nap later on today she can recover the other pictures.

Hello all

I am sorry I have been MIA for a little. Dad went to L.A. and mom took me to the cabin while he was gone. Then I had a little cold from Dad's students. It wasn't a bad cold but it sure did make me cranky. Thankfully I am feeling better now and am back to my normal self. Soon I will have pictures of my cabin vacation.

Thanks to the Dufoe family for my stylin' shirt. I got some good laughs with this one on a walk with mom this morning.

Here is my cool new floor mat. I have to battle the cats for use of it. Schmelig likes to play with the toys almost as much as I do. It sure is fun to squirm around and make the toys go flying through the air.

Finally after looking at all of these tasty toys, I am beginning to reach out and pick them up. Of course the fist thing I want to do with them is to put them in my mouth. I still haven't figured out how to let go of them before I crash them into my head. Mom bought me some softer toys so I don't hurt myself but they are not as much fun!
