So together with Nonna, Grandpa and two of their friends, Justine and John, Mom and Dad rented a beautiful 8 bedroom Victorian house in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The extra bedrooms came in handy so I could be far removed from people who like to sleep the whole night through and wake up after 5:30. The weather was wonderful for the whole weekend. We got this cool tent thing that is made out of SPF material so I could be in the shade and not get too sandy. It also matched my cool sun outfit that is also SPF material. I had a blast. I really loved the water and wasn't afraid of the waves at all. Plus I tasted so good after I got wet. So did Mom. I spent a fair amount of time licking both her hands and mine. In fact it was so exciting I had to take a nap. What better place than in the shade, on the beach with the sounds of the waves lulling me to sleep. I also enjoyed watching the sand fall through my fingers when I picked it up, and of course tried to eat it. This was the perfect time to come to the shore. The crowds were gone, but we couldn't have had better weather. I hope we can do this again.
